My biggest insiprations were the doctors I knew that were also mashaykh/duaat. These role models illustrated that one can excel in their dunya studies and their Islamic studies simultaneously. "When I started this podcast in 2020, people living in Kashmir did
not even have access to 4G internet but would work with me to stitch
audio recordings into conversations to relay their stories to the
rest of the world. This had to be done for the sake of my people who
have been silenced under colonial occupation and storytelling is my
resistance against that censorship. Our resilience as Kashmiris, who
never give up the hope of surviving, inspires me. We imagine a day
when we will be free - this imagination is resilience and it is
inspiring."

Golden - Dark - Diamond Era (Painting Version)

These paintings are the artists representations of the three periods
of the islamic civilization, The artist used appropriation
aesthetics for this triptych painting to create beautiful imagery
and colour contrast. Each 'era' is represented by a key object of
its time.
"For the golden era, I paint a spherical astrolabe by Muslim around
1480. At the bottom, I use the Alhambra. At the dark era, I used the
fireworks display at the Riyad Season 2021 and a crystal ball
appeared in the Salvator Mundi painting which was collected by a
prince from the Middle East.In the last one, I painted diamonds with
the Syahadat calligraphy, like in the flag of the Prophet Muhammad.
At the bottom, I painted a mosque in space which was inspired by
Peter Gould on the islamimagined.com."
The Book of Light
UK
A realistic and clean styled acrylic painting that tells a story by
using contrasting colours to make the focal point stand out, the
artist uses light to show guidance, peace, and serenity, while
subtly hinting at the abandonment of the Qur'an for a busier world
outside.
"This was such a big opportunity to (share) my ideas with many
people. There were many problems in the world that came into my mind
that i was going to paint but then i asked myself what painting the
problems would do? Why not paint the cure for these problems, which
is the Quran. The Quran is the divine light & it is the cure for all
diseases. Muslims have forgotten that they are the words of Allah
and they are so powerful. If we were all to turn to the Quran to
guide us then we wouldn't be so lost today."

A light-hearted rhyming story for children on Islamic bathroom
etiquette.
"This book was inspired by true events when I began potty training
my first son! Then I realised there wasn't a children's book about
the Islamic etiquette of using the bathroom, so I began writing. By
the time I began directing the artwork, a fellow Muslim author
launched 'My First Muslim Potty Training Book' which I purchased to
potty train my second son. Masha'Allah it's a great book. I was
relieved that my book was different in many ways. My book is also

UK
Fatih: Deen Companion is an Islamic Based Productive App that
incorporates aspects from habit trackers, RPG Games, course
platforms and social connections into a single App.
"What inspired us was realizing how the difference in accessibility
and clarity of structure in being able to learn any subject (Math,
English, Science) online, for free, but being unable to do so for
one's own Deen and living the life of a practising Muslim. How I
could become a graphic designer using a structured course on
YouTube, but I can barely find anything as straightforward that can
guide or help me go from a 0 to 100 in my Deen. Ultimately, our Deen
is the most important aspect of our lives and yet the least focused
on."
